What's up everyone. We are Moe and John. We are the guys behind time off audio.
We're small but mighty team of two. We originally met many years ago at McGill University. Together, we've recorded songs, played live shows, and have pushed ourselves to become better musicians, engineers and programmers.
Moe
I was born in Algeria, grew up in Saudi Arabia, and moved to Canada at 18 to study at McGill and embark on my independent journey. For as long as I can remember, I've been equally drawn to computers and math on one hand, and to music and art on the other. I've even produced countless tracks for myself and others.
Today, time off audio is my vessel for exploring that intersection between sound and technology, and bringing the freshest ideas to the music makers of the world.
John
I have always been fascinated by the intersection of art and science. My career has been spent in the trenches of production: from touring musician and stage manager to recording engineer, music video director, and broadcast technical director.
Today, I'm a professor at York University. At time off audio, I lead the creative strategy and marketing, translating years of hands-on experience into tools and content that resonate with the modern creator.
